Clinical Job Opportunity in the New York City area

Medical scribes are critical members of our team at CityMD. They help provide quality service and are committed to serving our patients with the utmost respect and compassion.

Responsibilities:

Use our electronic medical documentation system to record important elements of the patient's medical history
Assist doctors with exams, documentation, basic procedures, treatments, and certain diagnostic testing such as IV therapy, EKG, injury stabilization and specimen collection
Help facilitate advanced imaging or specialist referrals
Help organize medical data for review and interpretation
Obtain medical history through direct one on one interaction with patients

Qualifications:

Friendly and professional with excellent bedside manner
Flexible with full-time work schedule including weekends
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
High attention to details
Team player
Adaptable nature to work in a continuously evolving environment
Passion for helping others in a health-care setting
Advanced computer skills
Experience in any service industry a plus
College graduate
Previous clinical experience preferred
Minimum 1 year commitment
